Our Story
After working for more than 10 years in the medical industry as a biller and coder, owner Sandy Defelice looked for a career change. Deeply fascinated with oils, vinegar, and cooking in general, Sandy used and studied the products of the company and found herself greatly satisfied. She then bought the business, hoping to share her passion with other people.
Today, Sandy and her husband Dennis Defelice Jr. are committed to meeting the needs of their customers and making their shopping experience an absolute pleasure.

About us
Deep South Oil & Vinegar in Houma, Louisiana has been the home of a large variety of oils and vinegars for more than eight years. At present, we have 20 plus extra virgin olive oils and 20 plus varieties of aged balsamic vinegars, some of which are flavor fused and infused. We also offer specialty items including handmade pasta, salsa, pepper jelly, seasonings, and spices.
